Applying a semi-permanent temporary tattoo is fairly easy, but it is important to follow simple instructions to make sure that the tattoo looks good. Here is the process for applying a temporary tattoo:

Materials that you will need:

• Scissors
• A damp rag
• the tattoo stencil
• Hairspray

Steps to begin:

1. Location: Choose the location on your body that you would like to place the temporary tattoo.
2. Clean the area that you would like to place the temporary tattoo. Use soap and water, and then allow the spot to air-dry.
3. Cut out the tattoo stencil.
4. Remove the clear plastic back from the tattoo.
5. Place the tattoo face down on your skin and apply pressure. 
6. Use the damp rag with lukewarm water to apply pressure. Place the damp rag on the back of the tattoo. Hold for 30 seconds. 
7. Take a peek: Gently lift the edge of the tattoo paper and check to see if the tattoo is fully applied to your skin. If the tattoo is complete, peel the entire paper off.
8. Make sure the tattoo is dry before touching the tattoo because the tattoo will damage if touched while still wet. 
9. Once the paper is peeled off, the tattoo should be filly applied to your skin. Lightly pat the tattoo to make sure that the tattoo does not rub off. 
10. If you would like to, spray hairspray on the tattoo from a distance of about 6 inches in order to hold the tattoo a little longer. 

You will have had a pleasurable tattoo experience. You will have received plenty of compliments on your new tattoo. After enjoying your tattoo for several days, the temporary tattoo should start to fade away in about 72 hours (3 days). If you would like to remove the tattoo before the 3 days, you can do so with soap and water, a makeup remover pad, or an alcohol pad.
